Enrolled Greens in Brooklyn: Come to our membership meeting, where we’ll elect officers nominated on Dec. 4, including Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, and two at-large members; review proposed changes to our GPBK by-laws; talk about how to become a state committee member for the Green Party of New York (you can also contact gloria@gpbk.org); and discuss 2020 Green candidates and issue campaigns. If you’re considering running for office, come to the meeting or email us!

Divest New York State’s Pension Fund from Fossil Fuels!
Contact State Senator Brian Kavanagh

New York’s public pension fund still has $13 billion in taxpayer money invested in fossil fuels, directly funding the rapidly accelerating climate crisis. The DivestNY campaign needs one more New York State Senate sponsor for a divestment bill (2126). Contact Senator Kavanagh and tell him to sponsor this bill! Especially if you’re one of his constituents (living in Senate District 26).
