“As part of the upcoming exhibition The Gentrification of Brooklyn: The Pink Elephant Speaks opening Thursday at Downtown Brooklyn’s Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA), New York-based street artist Specter was commissioned to create a series of hilarious billboards addressing the area’s current extensive and accelerated gentrification, particularly though not exclusively in light of the Atlantic Yards project.”
